What We Do NOT Do

Data Processing Modes

🖥️ Local Transcription

Audio is processed entirely on your device. No audio data is sent to our servers. Only metadata is synced for usage tracking.

☁️ Cloud Transcription

Audio files are uploaded to our secure servers and processed using OpenAI Whisper or Deepgram. Audio files are deleted after transcription (within 24 hours).

🔑 BYOK Mode

Audio goes directly from your device to the API provider. We act only as a pass-through and never see the content.

Your Privacy Rights

View all your account information, download your data in JSON format, export transcripts to various formats

Update your account information, delete individual transcripts, or delete your entire account

🚫 Opt-Out Rights

Choose local transcription, disable analytics, unsubscribe from marketing emails, use BYOK mode

Regional Privacy Rights

California (CCPA/CPRA): Right to know, delete, and opt-out of data "sale" (we don't sell data)

European Union (GDPR): Right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and withdraw consent
